Hello loves, It’s Lori!🦄✨

Side Note: The featured photo in this post is me with the book & the lipstick from the package I received from Sarah hehe🙊 The NYX Liquid lipstick is called ‘Monte Carlo‘ 💋

When I received this book from the author with a bunch of cute goodies I freaked out! The book cover is so beautiful, lipsticks, notebook, and many more goodies. Hopefully I don’t sound like I’m bragging, but I’m just so happy and it feels surreal that I received this ahh!

ABOUT THE BOOK

19-year-old Sydney has the perfect summer mapped out. She’s been spending the next four and a half weeks traveling through Europe with her childhood best friend, Leela. Their plans include Eiffel tower selfie’s, eating cocoa gelato, and making out with très hot strangers. For plans do not include Leela’s cheating ex-boyfriend showing up on the flight to London, falling for the cheating ex-boyfriend’s très Hot friend, monitoring her mothers spiraling mental health via texts, or feeling like the rope in a friendship tug-of-war. And this hilarious and unforgettable venture New York Times bestselling Author Sarah Mlynowski tells the story of a girl learning to navigate secret romances, thorny relationships, and the London tube. As Sydney zigzags through Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, and France, she must learn when to hold on, when to keep moving, and went to jump into the Riviera… wearing only her polka-dot underpants.

MY THOUGHTS
Well when reading this I instantly fell in LOVE with the humor, friendship, family and diverse characters it had, all in one! I honestly could not stop laughing at how funny it was!

I read 50% of the book within a day because I was obsessed. I could also relate to the main protagonist which felt nice. This book is easy to read, but does mention sex, drugs, strippers so this book is for certain ages of course. I also did love the spontaneous fast paced traveling it involved. This book is perfect as a summer read, even though I’m posting this at the end of the summer season.
While in the middle of the book, I did take a break because a few scenes were bothering me of how a character is so in love with her ex and didn’t feel like traveling much or seeing people kiss that kinda ruined the adventurous vibe. I also have to admit that this book is mostly about boys and traveling wrapped into one which I liked at the beginning, but after awhile it felt repetitive and too much about teenage boys.

Overall, I really did enjoy this book and you may like it as well!

  1. I love road trip type books like this! Especially around Europe!

I’d love to go to England with one of my friends. Get to see all the historical sites and go to the bookstores!
